Position: Sales Investment Banking AssociateRole: Associates will be responsible for developing new business through prospecting in select industries, corresponding with top prospects to convert them to clients as quickly as possible, serving as project manager on assignments, facilitating meetings, and participating in transaction execution. Associates will support the production team in the preparation of materials in connection with new business generation and participate in other general business related tasks. Associates will be asked to frequently travel for marketing trips, company showings, and transaction closings. Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have a College/University degree and three years of sales related transaction experience (preferably in investment banking) of high cost, long sales cycle products or services. Candidates must have a high level of professionalism; possess high ethics, integrity and interpersonal skills. Candidates must be resourceful, a self-starter, strategic thinker, able to lead, highly motivated, possess good time management skills and possess excellent presentation skills. Candidates should also possess strong written and oral communication skills, solid negotiating skills and exceptional quantitative understanding of the investment banking process.
